I am so thankful I will see my favorite second graders soon! It was a wonderful break. I picked up my son at college and was so happy to have everyone together for the holiday. We celebrated at my mom's where we had an amazing feast and lots of laughs. My brother always cooks the turkey at his house, loads it into the car and gets it to grandma's table. Every year we worry there could be a turkey accident. I don't shop the early Friday madness. Instead, I enjoyed holiday decorating, took a photography class and updated our blog. Sadly, the leaves are gone outside and the winter feel is here. I needed to change the theme of our blog but I just couldn't go with a snow theme! Please check in often to see all the learning adventures in room 10!

Hi! On Friday we did a play called Spiderella. It was like Cinderella but with bugs. Holly was the Fairy Godmoth and Abby was First Ladybug. Alex, Brianna and Samantha were in the play too. The First Ladybug said to the Cicada Prince to give her a cicada kiss. Everybody laughed.

My uncle is a veteran and came to visit our school. After he came to my class I became his tour guide. I took him to my brother and cousins' rooms. I wore my Boy Scout uniform. We did the pledge and sang My Country Tis of Thee.

On 11-2-10 there was a play called the Pig Who Cried Wolf and I was the big, bad wolf. The other characters were Percy Little, Parker Little and Paul Little. The audience laughed at my tail. I only had three lines but they were funny.
