My Day As President

Reported By: Ryan
I was elected class president for a day. I was so nervous at the election. I was tied with Jackson and we had to give our speeches again. I won and got to wear an Uncle Sam hat and sit in the Oval Office. It was fun!

Sharing What We Know

The students worked so hard researching an animal, writing a report, and completing a Power Point that they shared with the class. We learned a lot of interesting facts about animals!

Solid, Liquid, Gas

Reported By: Lorelei
Mr. Jeno came to teach us about solids, liquids and gases. Dry ice is a solid. If you put it in water it will create a gas. He did an experiment with this. A fire needs oxygen to burn. With no oxygen it will burn out. Mr. Jeno also mixed a solid and liquid. He mixed vinegar and baking soda to create carbon dioxide. It was very interesting.

Our Boy Scouts

We have many Boy Scouts in our class. Over the weekend they enjoyed the Pinewood Derby race. It was amazing to see so many creative car designs and how fast they can race.

Inventors and Inventions!

Reported By: Salvi
There have been many great inventions. Some of my favorite are the Ipod, TV and Xbox. We researched a famous inventor. I learned about James Naismith. He created the game of basketball.
