A man from Historical Perspectives came to Wayne Elementary to act out Martin Luther King's life. Martlin Luther King could not play baseball with his friends because he was black and they were white. Martin didn't like this rule. He worked hard to change the rules so everyone was treated equal.

Jump For Heart!

In gym we are exercising for "Jump For Heart." We are using jump ropes, little trampolines and much more! Samantha C and I are partners. It is so much fun. You should try it!!!

A huge winter storm hits Illinois leaving 20 inches of snow in some areas. Wayne Elementary was closed for three school days and the long clean-up process took place.
